Why do we need new activites facilities?
Several additions and upgrades have taken place at Rhinelander High School since it opened in 1958. Despite the fact that in the last 45 years, the number of activity programs have more than tripled and the number of participants has q uadrupled, the athletics/performance arts areas remain primarily unchanged from their earliest versions. Current and projected projects by various local organizations will not meet all the needs of the community and the School District of Rhinelander.
Improved Activities Facilities will:
- Promote growth in our community.
- Make Rhinelander a more attractive place in which to live.
- Be available to the citizens of our community.
- Assist the school district in recruiting and retaining quality staff.
